Opening Early Summer 2026

We are hiring!

We’re a restaurant built on the belief that exceptional hospitality happens when every role matters and the team works together seamlessly. We operate with a tip-pooling structure that reflects our commitment to team-based work. Reliability and punctuality are non-negotiable.

We’re closed Monday and Tuesday and open Wednesday through Sunday for evening service, with lunch on Sundays.

Host/Hostess

Be the first smile guests see at Vesper.

We’re looking for someone warm, observant, and genuinely hospitable to anchor our front-of-house experience. You’ll greet guests, manage the dining room, coordinate with our team, and keep the evening flowing smoothly. If you love making people feel welcomed and have strong communication skills, we’d like to meet you.

You’ll:

  • Welcome guests and seat them thoughtfully across our dining room, patio, and bar
  • Manage reservations and the waitlist with precision
  • Communicate seamlessly with servers, bartenders, and support staff
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the dining room, checking in with guests and your teammates
  • Master our point-of-sale system

We’re looking for: Physical stamina, reliability, genuine hospitality, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Experience with restaurant POS systems is a plus.

Server

Own the guest experience from hello to goodbye.

We want servers who are passionate about hospitality, knowledgeable about food and wine, and skilled at reading a table and adapting their service to match. At Vesper, you’re not just taking orders – you’re guiding an experience and building relationships that bring guests back.

You’ll:

  • Approach each table with warmth and confidence, understanding what each guest needs
  • Maintain deep knowledge of our menu, cocktails, wine list, and daily specials
  • Communicate with the kitchen to manage timing and honor the chef’s vision
  • Maintain tables with care – resetting silverware, crumbing between courses, clearing with intention
  • Update guest information so every visit feels personal and remembered
  • Collaborate with the full team to deliver seamless service

We’re looking for: A genuine passion for hospitality and people. Strong product knowledge (or willingness to develop it). The ability to stay composed and efficient during peak service.

Busser/Barback

Be the backbone that makes great service possible.

This role is fundamental to our operation. You’ll manage the behind-the-scenes work that keeps servers and bartenders moving – clearing tables, resetting efficiently, supporting the bar, and engaging with guests whenever you’re on the floor. It’s physical, it’s important, and it matters.

You’ll:

  • Polish glassware and silverware, fold napkins, and set up stations before service
  • Clear tables quickly and professionally, always with a warm interaction
  • Reset tables thoroughly so the next guests have a pristine experience
  • Support the bartender with restocking, ice, and bar logistics
  • Help close the restaurant thoroughly and prepare it for the next shift

We’re looking for: Physical stamina, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Genuine hospitality – a kind word and a smile when interacting with guests. Attention to detail in side work and table maintenance, and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.

Bartender

Craft drinks. Build connections. Elevate the experience.

We’re seeking a skilled, knowledgeable bartender who can execute our craft cocktail program with precision while engaging guests with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. You’ll be a cornerstone of the Vesper experience – someone who knows spirits, respects the classics, and brings personality to the bar.

You’ll:

  • Execute classic cocktails to consistent Vesper standards with precision
  • Develop and share knowledge of our thoughtfully curated wine and spirit programs
  • Engage guests at the bar, reading their needs and offering genuine recommendations
  • Maintain bar setup, cleanliness, and organization throughout service
  • Collaborate with servers and support staff to keep service seamless
  • Participate in staff education and uphold the highest standards for responsible alcohol service

We’re looking for: Demonstrated experience in a craft cocktail or elevated hospitality setting. Deep knowledge of classic cocktails and a passion for the craft. Strong communication skills and the ability to work calmly and efficiently during busy shifts.

Food Runner
Connect the kitchen’s vision to the guest’s table.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, energetic person to be the vital link between our kitchen and our dining room. As a Food Runner, you’ll ensure every dish arrives at the right table, at the right moment, with the care and knowledge that reflects the chef’s intention. You’ll be the ambassador of our food –  knowledgeable about ingredients, farms, and techniques – and the person who makes sure every plate tells our story.

You’ll:

  • Work closely with the kitchen to understand timing, plating, and the story behind each dish
  • Run food to tables with accuracy and care, communicating clearly with servers about seat numbers and special presentations
  • Develop and share knowledge of our ingredient sources, the farms, producers, and purveyors that define our menu
  • Expedite service by coordinating between the back and front of house, keeping communication clear and efficient
  • Engage warmly with guests when appropriate, answering questions about dishes and connecting them to the food they’re eating

We’re looking for: Physical stamina and the ability to move quickly and safely through a busy restaurant. Strong attention to detail – you understand that running food to table 4, seat 2 is not the same as table 4, seat 1. Genuine curiosity about food, farms, and where ingredients come from. Clear communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure. A team-first attitude and willingness to support both kitchen and floor.
